Description
High-Intensity Aviation Obstruction Light: Precision Marking for Tall Structures
Designed to mark the pinnacle of structures exceeding 150 meters, this high-intensity aviation obstruction light operates with a consistent white flash, day and night. Powered by CREE’s ultra-high intensity LED, the light guarantees longevity and peak performance. Our proprietary reflective board ensures brighter illumination with fewer LEDs.
Compliance:
- ICAO Annex 14 Volume 1, Eighth Edition, 2018: High Intensity Type A Obstruction Light
- FAA L-856, L-857
- CAAC MH6012-2015 Aviation Obstruction Light, MH 5001-2013 Aerodrome Technical Standards
Features:
Electrical:
- Energy-efficient CREE ultra-high intensity LED.
- Versatile power supply options: DC (48V) and AC (110V, 240V).
Physical:
- Unique, UV-protected polycarbonate lens maximizes light convergence and LED efficiency.
- Vibrant yellow UV-protected powder-coated base offers superior visibility.
- Base crafted from corrosion-resistant powder-coated die-casting aluminum, providing shock and vibration protection.
- Innovative vent design ensures optimal temperature regulation while preventing water intrusion.
System Design:
- Integrated photocell supports day, twilight, and night operations.
- Features surge and lightning protection.
- In-built GPS for synchronized flashing.
Optional Enhancements:
- Dry contact alarm output for streamlined remote monitoring.
- Infrared LED to assist pilots using night vision goggles (NVG).
- User-configurable flash rate (40, 50, 60 flashes/minute).
- Solar power compatibility.
Applications: The HI-A1(L) high-intensity light is the preferred choice for tall structures such as skyscrapers, large chimneys, communication towers (including Telecom, GSM, Microwave & TV), tall poles, tower cranes, wind turbines, and more. When marking obstacles over 150 meters, it often works in conjunction with low and medium-intensity lights positioned lower down.
