With the world moving towards sustainable solutions, we got a chance to revolutionize the solar obstruction light space for a Kenyan distributor.

The Challenge:
The distributor’s previous supplier used a GZ155 traditional lens with an external battery board. The design was bulky, with disappointing brightness, mainly because GZ155 isn’t an optical lens.

Our Approach:
We took our AFS1804 model and enhanced it. By adding a battery board bracket and incorporating a lithium iron phosphate battery within the light pillar, we drastically reduced its size. Not only did this cut down shipping costs, but the brightness and lifespan were also dramatically improved.

Conclusion:
Today, our revamped model shines twice as bright, lasts up to 15 years, and stands as a beacon of innovation in the Kenyan market.
